Accanto Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to support residential and inpatient units in Cleveland Heights, with relocation to Aurora, OH scheduled for December. The role involves facilitating therapeutic groups, assisting clients in building recovery skills, and maintaining a structured, recovery-focused environment.

It requires flexibility for 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays, with a 0.4 FTE schedule (16 hours/week).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or higher or 2 years healthcare experience in a similar position/related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field; relevant certification or licensure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate therapeutic activity groups and support clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder.
• Support and maintain a recovery-oriented environment within the residential and inpatient milieu.
• Assist in admissions and participate in care planning with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks; assist with structured outings and recreation.
• Monitor and document observations in charts; enforce policies and complete hourly room-checks.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or higher or 2 years healthcare experience in a similar position/related field

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field; a relevant certification or licensure preferred

Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
