Job summary

Greenpoint Metals Inc. in Franklin, Ohio, is seeking a Banding Line Technician to operate the banding line on the 3rd shift. You will run, monitor, and tune equipment to wrap or bundle materials for shipping, ensuring packages meet customer specs and stay secure during transport.

You will set up machines, adjust tension and alignment, perform basic maintenance, inspect for defects, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the production team to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; manufacturing training is a plus.
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience with banding or packaging systems is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor banding line equipment.
• Set up banding machines: adjust settings, change bands, ensure alignment and tension.
• Inspect materials for defects, ensure proper banding and tagging.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Monitor production, record data, and report irregularities.
• Maintain inventory of banding materials and coordinate with team.
