Job summary

Steel Technologies is seeking a 2nd shift Packager to set up and operate banding equipment, package materials, and prepare for shipment. You will gain exposure to finished goods and learn about our customers and end products.

Responsibilities include preparing skids, operating banding lines, cranes, forklifts, and ensuring correct labeling and safety. You will move materials between storage and workstations and maintain production standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers.
• Pass forklift certification and/or crane training.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 75 lb regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate banding equipment to package materials.
• Prepare skids to customer specifications and ensure proper identification.
• Move materials with forklift/crane between storage areas and workstations.
• Maintain production standards and clean packaging areas.
