Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Cusseta, AL, is seeking a 3rd Shift Press Operator to sustain quality stampings and meet production targets according to our quality standards and Plex ERP.

Responsibilities include loading coils, operating stamping presses, inspecting parts, completing documentation, and maintaining a safe, clean work area while supporting a flexible team ready to work up to 12 hours per day, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Demonstrates reliability, integrity and teamwork in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to 1,000 ton automatic stamping presses to ensure quality stampings meet standards.
• Load correct coils and stamp product according to JES and job element sheets.
• Perform quality checks and document information in Plex ERP system.
• Maintain safe and clean work area; assist with housekeeping and shift coverage.
• Complete required paperwork and reports; meet daily production requirements.
• Must be able to work a 3rd shift (730 PM–6 AM), Monday–Thursday; up to 12 hours per day.
