Job summary

Morton Salt in Fairless Hills, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Automated Packaging Equipment Operator to safely run automated bagging lines and support production goals.

You will perform setup, start-up/shutdown, inspections, minor repairs, and coordinate with the team to minimize downtime while maintaining GMP and safety records.

This on-site, full-time role requires strong communication, attendance for overtime, and a commitment to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of production packaging experience.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and maintain good housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, repair, adjust equipment; report malfunctions.
• Start-up and shutdown of equipment as directed.
• Perform general facility cleaning, painting, minor maintenance, and repairs.
• Complete operating records and inspections.
• Follow GMPs and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and housekeeping.
• Adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures and report issues.
