Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent training/experience required.
• Operates and uses mechanical hand tools, shop tools, precision measuring instruments, and gas and electric welders.
• Observes GMP and safety regulations in all duties.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain can line machinery to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Direct and relieve equipment operators as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Maintain change-out records of parts and supplies.
• Ensure adequate packaging materials for continuous line operations.
• Report damage or spoilage to supervisor.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
