Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is hiring Line Operators in Atlanta, GA to run automated production lines and monitor equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of manufacturing experience and works well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in line operation or manufacturing.
• Experience operating metal stamping presses.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with setups/changeovers.
• Experience with overhead crane loading coils.
• Experience with standard shop measuring tools and hand tools.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, change, change over, and operate line according to production specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and monitor equipment during production; verify parameters.
• Set up part programs and parameters for presses, feeds, and dies.
• Perform quality checks to verify die setup prior to production run.
• Make and maintain shims for dies; fix broken punches or dies sections.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure against specs.
• Report production quantities and labor details.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes.
• Maintain production-related documents and logs for accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment to move raw materials and parts as needed.
