Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group is hiring an Assembly Machine Operator in Texas. You will operate hand-operated metal stamping presses and perform duties in the Assembly department under supervision of the Production Supervisor.

The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for long periods, and following safety and quality procedures. We offer a team-oriented environment with growth opportunities and a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
• Must be able to follow all safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate press for assembly operations.
• Review job traveler and part drawings to accurately produce parts.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Record production data and scrap; complete related paperwork.
• Move raw materials and parts using pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 6S and safety standards.
• Comply with environmental safety practices and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Starting Hourly Base Rate: $15.50/hour with the opportunity to make production bonuses through production bonuses!

Profit Sharing Bonuses:Eligible after 6 months and a full quarter of employment distributed every quarter!

Title: Assembly Machine Operator

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for operating hand operated metal stamping presses and other duties required in the Assembly department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Operate press for assembly operations
• Reviews job traveler and part drawings to accurately produce parts
• Makes all required quality checks during production to ensure parts are produced to required dimensions and conform to all specifications.
• Completes all job related paperwork and production reporting to accurately record part quantity and scrap
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks to move raw material and parts as needed
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area using 6S guidelines and safety standards
• Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
