Job summary

Elkhart Plastics is seeking a Trim/Assembly operator on the 3rd shift (Sunday through Wednesday, 7:30pm–6:00am) with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium. The role focuses on producing products efficiently while meeting quality standards in a hot, manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preparing tools and instructions, trimming and bundling products, meeting due dates, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Ability to review work instructions and adhere to quality standards.
• Willingness to learn and follow training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare information and tools before starting each job.
• Review Work Instructions prior to starting a job.
• Bundle product after trimming and move to staging location.
• Complete all assigned projects by the due date.
• Align with production priorities and targets.
• Attend shift meetings and training as required.
• Meet or exceed production targets.
• Operate hand and power tools to trim and inspect products.
