Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is hiring for an Assembly Operator on the 3rd shift in Battle Creek, MI. Work hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a straight 8-hour shift and a paid lunch.

Starting pay is $20.55 per hour, plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential and a monthly attendance bonus after the first month. In this role you will load components, complete production and inspection reports, keep the work area clean and safe, perform hourly part inspections, and pack finished products into totes or bins.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Perform basic math skills including percentages and fractions.
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges and fixtures.
• Ability to work in a factory environment—standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load components into machine or onto conveyor system.
• Complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
