Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is hiring a production associate in Battle Creek, MI to operate stamping presses, monitor quality, and keep a clean, safe work area. You will work a 2:30 PM–10:30 PM shift with a paid lunch and be paid $20.55 per hour, with increases at 3 and 6 months. A $0.75 shift differential and a monthly attendance bonus are included.

Ideal candidates show attention to detail, can read tape measures, and work well both in a team and independently. Previous stamping press experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Perform basic math including percentages and fractions.
• Understand and use quality gauges and fixtures.
• Read and interpret tape measures.
• Work in a factory environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs).
• Prefer previous experience with stamping presses or related manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Place materials and remove finished parts into stamping press.
• Complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Perform hourly inspection of parts.
• Pack parts from conveyor into various totes or bins.

Work hours: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, straight 8‑hour shift with a paid lunch. Pay rate starts at $20.55 per hour with scheduled increases at 3 months and 6 months of employment. Additional $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift. Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment.
