Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 3rd shift in Battle Creek, MI. Hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Responsibilities include loading components into machines or conveyors, recording production and inspection data, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role starts at $20.55 per hour with pay increases at 3 and 6 months, plus a $0.50 shift differential and eligibility for a monthly attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Basic math skills—percentages and fractions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Load components into machine or conveyor system.
• Complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Hourly inspection of parts.
• Packing finished product into totes/bins.

Assembly Operator- 3rd Shift

Work hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Work a straight 8 hours shift with a paid lunch

Pay rate starts at $20.55/ hour with scheduled pay increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Additional $0.50 shift differential for 3rd shift

Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment

Assembly Operator will be responsible for

• Loading components into machine or onto conveyor system
• Will complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Hourly inspection of parts
• Packing finished product various totes/ bins

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in fast paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Perform basic math skills- including working with percentages and fractions
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures
• Ability to work in a factory environment- standing, bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs
