Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Greenwood, IN is seeking an Assembly Coordinator for a 3rd shift. You will manage staging, assembly, and quality for the production line, prepare parts, read work orders, and ensure accurate documentation and timely shipping.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, maintaining build and ship lists, and guiding the assembly team to meet dispatch schedules. A strong focus on safety and quality is required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret blueprints and operate from written/work orders.
• 1 year of related experience or training.
• Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inspects incoming parts and reports problems promptly.
• Prepares items for assembly per customer orders by retrieving parts and assembling.
• Tracks parts using Traverse / Excel and maintains accurate documentation.
• Oversees quality and assembly team with guidance from the team lead to ensure dispatch list adherence.
