The Assembler/Machine operator position oversees operating a machine to assemble components to exact specifications while maintaining a safe, clean workstation and following all safety guidelines. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, basic math skills, and the ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates basic math with decimals and measurements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Demonstrates reliability, good initiative, and quality focus.
• Ability to work in a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine to assemble components per specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects; report non-conforming items.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; maintain housekeeping in production areas.
• Set up machines according to work instructions; learn all machines in the area.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE; participate in safety initiatives.
• Communicate test results and issues to technicians and engineers.
