Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience.
• RETA Operator Certification required.
• Experience with refrigeration safety standards and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, motors, and refrigeration controls.
• Monitor system pressures and temperatures to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform timely corrective repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation; support energy efficiency initiatives.
• Respond to refrigeration alarms and emergencies during shift.
