Job summary

Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson, KY is seeking an Aluminum Casting Press Operator for the 3rd shift to run high-pressure aluminum casting presses, ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

You will monitor castings, identify defects, perform minor die repairs, and assist with die changes while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Prior manufacturing experience and the ability to work overtime are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (casting, metal forming, or automotive environment a plus).
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure aluminum casting presses to meet production and quality targets
• Monitor castings and identify defects or irregularities
• Troubleshoot die issues and communicate concerns to leadership
• Perform minor die repairs and assist with die and sleeve changes
• Follow standardized work instructions and shop floor processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (7-S standards)
• Collaborate with team members and support continuous production flow
