Job summary

Henderson Economic Development is seeking an Aluminum Casting Press Operator for the 3rd shift to operate high-pressure aluminum casting presses and ensure quality targets are met.

You will monitor castings, troubleshoot issues, and assist with die changes while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. HS diploma or GED is required; manufacturing experience is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (casting, metal forming, or automotive environment a plus).
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure aluminum casting presses to meet production and quality targets.
• Monitor castings and identify defects or irregularities.
• Troubleshoot die issues and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Perform minor die repairs and assist with die and sleeve changes.
• Follow standardized work instructions and shop floor processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (7-S standards).
• Collaborate with team members and support continuous production flow.
