Job summary

Chromalloy in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

This 4th shift runs Friday–Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with training on 1st shift for 90 days. The starting rate is $33.52/hr and the position is represented by Local 475.

Qualifications

• Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Welding and brazing experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Comfortable operating a scissor lift.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment
• Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues
• Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems
• Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs
• Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed
• Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards
• Nice to have: experience maintaining heat‑treat or vacuum furnace equipment; industrial electrical troubleshooting; manufacturing maintenance certifications; aerospace or precision manufacturing experience
