Job summary

Vandor Corporation is seeking team members for production roles. You will perform a variety of tasks with machine operation and hand tools, and work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Positions are full-time with benefits after 60 days, including Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA with Employer Contribution, 401(k) with Company Match, vacation and holidays. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalence required.
  • Oversight for overtime as needed is expected.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Must read, comprehend and write English related to safety and duties.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools and handheld measuring devices.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; basic computer/tablet use.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines using various hand tools per production requirements.
  • Clean and inspect product equipment and materials.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and directions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team; communicate effectively.
  • Operate a forklift when required.
  • Adhere to company values and operating principles.

About this position

Description: These positions will work in multiple facets in production. It includes both team and individual settings performing a variety of tasks with machine operation and hand tools.

These positions are full-time and eligible for benefits after 60 days. Benefit offerings include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA with Employer Contribution, 401(k) with Company Match, Vacation time, Company Paid Holidays and more!

Positions can be for all shifts, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Machine Operation that includes using various hand tools per production requirements.
  • Responsible for cleaning and inspecting product equipment and materials.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Follow written and verbal instruction and demonstrated directions.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must express good mechanical skills.
  • Ability to communicate with team members in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Ensures strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

  • Other duties as assigned may be required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 250 pounds with proper equipment/techniques.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for full shift (8-12 hours).
  • Perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, reaching and other physical movements.
  • Ability to work with both hands on a constant basis.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced.

  • These are positions that require frequent work within a fast-paced warehousing environment that is not temperature regulated.
