Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned-preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and reflect accommodations for student differences.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology to meet students' needs.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Set instructional goals with staff and supervise aides and volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and support extracurricular activities as needed.
