Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons in accordance with district curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Plan instruction that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to adjust curricula for IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to set goals and methods aligned with district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers, ensuring completion of tasks.
• Plan and conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement.
• Support extracurricular activities as assigned and serve as a positive role model.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and safety.
• Manage student behavior in line with the Student Code of Conduct.
• Protect students, equipment, and facilities through precautions.
• Assist in selecting books and instructional materials.
• Compile and maintain required reports and records.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with district policies and meetings.
• Serve on committees as required and contribute to school goals.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
