Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks elementary teachers for 3rd–5th grades across our charter network in Birmingham, AL. You will introduce and help students master concepts via recurring assessments and collaborate with teachers to ensure cross‑curriculum alignment.

We seek applicants in Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies, and ESL, with electives in Art, Spanish, and PE. Candidates should hold a valid Alabama license or reciprocity and bring 2–4 years urban teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Alabama teaching license or reciprocity eligibility required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
