Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks elementary teachers to support a growing charter network in Memphis. As a teacher, you will introduce and develop mastery of concepts across assessments conducted throughout the year, collaborating with colleagues to align curricula across subjects.

You will work with a team to foster student growth, uphold high expectations, and engage families while contributing to curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives. A licensure path will be supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Tennessee teaching license and endorsements in the hired content area or reciprocal license with TN.
• Enrollment in a certification program with eligibility for licensure.
• Two to four years of urban teaching and educational leadership experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
