Job summary

Paxon is seeking a 3PL Operations Manager based in Morrow, Georgia to oversee facility operations and coordinate warehouse activities with other functions and suppliers. The role emphasizes optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

Key duties include setting production, staffing, safety, and quality goals; ensuring productivity, inventory control, and cost targets; supervising staff and vendor relationships; and traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science from a four-year accredited college or university.
• One to two years related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop production, inventory control, staffing, safety, and quality goals with supervisors and holds them accountable.
• Ensure standards of productivity, inventory control, safety and accuracy are met.
• Provide guidance to the development of personnel requirements, material needs, tooling and equipment needs.
• Ensure all established costs, quality and delivery commitments are met.
• Review’s production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational and maintenance problems.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
• Maintains vendor relationships.
• Compile, store and retrieve production data for reports.
• Ensures that tools and equipment are kept in the designated areas and secured.
• Other duties as assigned.
