Job summary

Paxon is seeking an experienced 3PL Operations Manager to be based at our Morrow, Georgia facility. You will oversee all activities related to the operation of the facility, coordinating with suppliers and internal functions to optimize resources, production, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science from a four-year accredited college or university.
• One to two years related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of educationand experience.
• Knowledge of Warehouse processes.
• People management techniques.
• Business and management principles.
• Train assigned employees on company government and customer policies, procedures and regulations.
• Active listening.

Responsibilities

• Develop production, inventory control, staffing, safety, and quality goals with supervisors and holds them accountable.
• Ensure standards of productivity, inventory control, safety and accuracy are met.
• Provide guidance to the development of personnel requirements, material needs, tooling and equipment needs.
• Ensure all established costs, quality and delivery commitments are met.
• Review’s production and operating reports and directs the Resolution of operational and maintenance problems.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
• Maintains vendor relationships.
• Compile, store and retrieve production data for reports.
• Ensures that tools and equipment are kept in the designated areas and secured.
• Other duties as assigned.
