Job summary

Iron Mountain in Victorville, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day 3PL operations including warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and inventory control. The role may expand to regional multi-site responsibility and requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to independently resolve issues.

You will report to the Operations Director and lead large teams across warehousing, drivers, and customer service, measuring KPIs, driving process

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years in warehouse or logistics leadership, including onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of leading teams, managing complex operations, and meeting KPIs in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Experience in customer relationship management, including managing client expectations and satisfaction.
• Financial oversight experience including budgeting, P&L responsibility, and cost management.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong skills in resolving conflicts and managing team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop large teams across operations managers, warehouse staff, drivers and customer service.
• Operational Management: Direct day-to-day operations—inventory control, order fulfillment, logistics—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze KPIs, provide insights, and drive improvements based on data.
• Process Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
• Risk Management: Manage operational risks, compliance and safety regulations in transport and warehousing.
• Financial oversight: Manage P&L for the operations unit, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
