Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a part-time night shift on a 3G/H telemetry/medical-surgical unit.

You will provide direct patient care, assist with admissions and transfers, and help maintain a safe, compassionate care environment for orthopedic, neuro/spine, stroke, and general cardiac patients. The role requires a KY Nurse Aide Certification or progress in nursing school with rotation validation, plus BLS within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification, or successful completion of first year of Nursing program with validation of clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Nursing Assistant

Part-Time, Night Shift

3G & H

3G/H is a 37-bed telemetry/medical surgical unit specializing in but not limited to orthopedic/neuro/spine patients. The unit serves as a secondary stroke unit as well as general cardiac/telemetry patients. The patients are transferred from PACU, ED, interventional areas, and direct admissions from MD offices.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.

Job Description:
