Baptist Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a part-time night shift on a 37-bed telemetry/medical-surgical unit in Lexington, KY. You will work under the direction of an RN or licensed care team to provide direct patient care and support.

Responsibilities include hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, positioning, and documenting vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimens. Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification or completed first year of nursing program with clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Obtains and documents vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens.
• Performs delegated procedures: blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, venipuncture.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges and procedures.

SummaryJob Description:Nursing AssistantPart-Time, Night Shift3G & H3G/H is a 37-bed telemetry/medical surgical unit specializing in but not limited to orthopedic/neuro/spine patients. The unit serves as a secondary stroke unit as well as general cardiac/telemetry patients.
