Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Visual Database Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain real-time 3-D visual and terrain databases used in C-17 training systems.

You will create new database designs, modify existing ones, and ensure accuracy and performance in collaboration with engineers and SMEs. You will support software installation, testing, and documentation, while coordinating with the Training System Support Center to ensure smooth implementation across all phases of development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or a minimum of eight years of related experience.
• Minimum of four years of experience in visual database development or a related technical field.
• U.S. citizen required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, and implement visual database applications for simulation and training.
• Design, modify, develop, and implement RADAR database applications.
• Support and install software applications and operating systems necessary for database integration.
• Coordinate with TSSC Engineering to enable smooth implementation across development phases.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers, Pilot Instructors, and SMEs to validate design accuracy and usability.
