Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Lead Visual Database Engineer to supervise Visual Database Engineers and lead the full lifecycle of real-time visual, RADAR, and 3‑D databases for C‑17 Training Systems.

You will coordinate with the Training System Support Center, Test Engineers, SMEs, instructors, and customers to ensure accuracy, performance, and seamless integration. The role requires strong leadership, hands‑on expertise, and a proven track record in database development for simulation and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of eight years of related experience in visual database development, simulation systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical work, coordinating projects, mentoring engineers, or supervising technical employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of Visual Database Engineers, establishing priorities and coordinating work.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for design, development, and maintenance of visual and radar database applications used for simulation and training.
• Mentor and coach team members, reinforce processes, and ensure on-time delivery and quality.
