Kitware in Charlotte, NC, seeks a researcher to advance 3D vision through photogrammetry, camera calibration, registration, and 3D reconstruction from images and video, with a focus on aerial and satellite imagery.

You will contribute to open source projects such as TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield, collaborate with researchers, present findings at major conferences, and pursue funding for new ideas in state-of-the-art computer vision and national security applications.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with multiview geometry to build 3D point clouds, meshes, Gaussian Splats, or NeRFs from imagery or video.
• Experience with AI/ML methods for 3D reconstruction or camera calibration.
• Strong software development practices; proficient in C++ and/or Python.
• Strong publication record in CVPR/ICCV/ECCV or similar venues.
• Innovative approach; proven ability to solve difficult technical challenges using imagery.
• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Due to contractual restrictions, only US Citizens will be considered for this position.
• Willingness to apply for and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
• Candidates should include a detailed list of publications in resume/CV.
