Job summary

The 24 Seven Talent team is seeking a 3D Technical Designer to support apparel development from concept through production in Los Angeles. You will drive technical packs, fit, and construction, and collaborate with design, development, production, and vendors to ensure accuracy and speed to market.

Ideal candidates have a strong technical design background, hands-on experience with CLO or Browzwear, and a proven ability to manage graded specs, blocks, and timelines across multiple categories.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Development, or a related field.
• Approximately 3 to 7 years of experience in apparel technical design, with flexibility for more experienced candidates.
• Strong knowledge of patternmaking, grading, garment construction, measuring, and fit evaluation.
• Experience creating technical packages and managing product from concept to production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office
• Experience with PLM systems; Centric is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with 3D design software such as CLO or Browzwear is required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with international vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasonal calendars.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions, evaluate samples, and provide clear fit comments to move product through development efficiently.
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Production to align on product details, timelines, and execution.
• Manage fit approval from initial development through pre-production, including graded spec review.
• Maintain blocks, grading standards, construction references, and sample tracking documentation.
• Help identify development issues early and recommend solutions that support fit, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Communicate with domestic and overseas vendors to ensure technical expectations are understood and executed correctly.
• Contribute to process improvements that support consistency and efficiency across categories.
• Review market trends and competitive product to help inform technical and construction improvements.
