Job summary

FAM Brands in Beverly Hills is seeking a skilled 3D Technical Designer to drive product development from concept to production, with hands-on Browzwear expertise and pattern-read analysis. You will work with design, product development, and production to translate creative vision into production-ready garments, manage fit, craft tech packs, and ensure timelines across categories.

Candidates should have a degree in fashion/technical design, 3–7 years of experience, and strong communication;

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Development, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in apparel technical design with demonstrated pattern reading, analysis and correction.
Proficiency in Browzwear 3D is a core requirement.
Strong working knowledge of pattern making, grading, garment construction, sewing techniques, technical drawing, and fit evaluation.
Experience working with Pattern Engineers (domestic and overseas) to drive fit intent and resolve construction issues.
Deep understanding of garment construction across woven, knit, and engineered knit categories.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite for technical flats and documentation.
Experience with Centric PLM or comparable PLM.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
Exposure to Gerber or equivalent pattern making software is a plus.
Exposure to international manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

3D Design & Digital Development: use Browzwear to create/validate 3D garment simulations and review fit digitally.
Pattern Analysis & Correction: read/evaluate patterns, provide correction notes to resolve fit issues and grading.
Fit Management & Technical Documentation: lead fit sessions, create/maintain tech packs, manage fit development and grading for bulk.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Vendor Communication: coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Production; communicate with domestic and international vendors; identify development risks and mitigate delays.
