Jobtailor is seeking a CLO 3D and patternmaking specialist to translate designs into accurate patterns and construction details. You will collaborate with production and sourcing to maintain design intent and meet quality standards in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fashion, strong CLO 3D skills, and experience with PLM systems, Photoshop, and 3D/4D scanning technologies. A strong eye for detail and brand-aligned aesthetics are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of fashion industry or related experience.
Proficiency in CLO 3D; CLO 3D strongly preferred.
Experience with PLM systems, Adobe Photoshop, and generative AI platforms.
Familiarity with Frontier, Vibe IQ, or Figma preferred.
Experience with Rhino, KeyShot, SolidWorks, or Blender preferred.
Experience with 3D and 4D scanning technologies preferred.
High attention to detail.
Strong aesthetic eye matching the brand identity.

Job description

Publish style setups from Designers to relay needed information to factories for sample execution
Advise on construction details and measurement specifications
Create patterns in CLO 3D with realistic construction, trims, and fabric
Support the Tech department with CLO 3D training and high-level execution of 3D style development
Review CLO 3D files to ensure vendors meet design intent for fit and construction
Review, maintain, and update tech packs and specification sheets
Communicate fit corrections and construction details to internal teams and vendors
Conduct live fit sessions in CLO 3D
Document fit notes, measure samples, and issue precise revisions
Collaborate with production and sourcing teams to ensure style details meet target margins and vendor capabilities without sacrificing design intent

Requirements

Associate or BS Degree in Fashion Design, Patternmaking, Apparel Technology, or Related Industry
5+ years of fashion industry or related field experience
Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching standards, flat patterning, and draping is a plus
Proficiency in 3D CAD software required; CLO 3D strongly preferred
Experience with PLM systems, Adobe Photoshop, and generative AI platforms
Familiarity with Frontier, Vibe IQ, or Figma preferred
Experience with Rhino, KeyShot, SolidWorks, or Blender preferred
Experience with 3D and 4D scanning technologies preferred
