Job summary

Stratasys is seeking a Manufacturing Finishing Technician II (Painter/3D Printing) at our Minnetonka, MN site to perform advanced post-processing and surface finishing on 3D-printed parts, including cosmetic and non-cosmetic painting, masking, coatings, sanding, and assembly.

You will operate paint booth equipment, conduct quality inspections, follow work instructions, review quotes, and collaborate with engineers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced math skills.
• Advanced computer experience (Microsoft Office and email).
• 2-3+ years of measurement experience using hand tools.
• 2-3+ years of experience with shop equipment including drill press, hand drills, sanders, UV lighting, etc.
• 2+ years experience with cosmetic and non-cosmetic paint and specialty coatings.
• Ability to work independently or with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for finishing.
• Review files and work order instructions to ensure parts meet requirements.
• Operate paint booth equipment and perform finishing with various techniques.
• Apply cosmetic and non-cosmetic paint finishes and coatings.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to troubleshoot finishing challenges.
• Maintain Finishing Area and ensure clean, stocked workspace.
