Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced math skills.
• Advanced computer experience (Microsoft Office and email).
• Hands-on experience with fine motor skills and details.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and craftsmanship.
• 2-3+ years of measurement experience with hand tools.
• 2-3+ years of experience with shop equipment (drill press, hand drills, sanders, UV lighting).
• 2+ years’ experience with cosmetic and non-cosmetic paint and specialty coatings.
• Ability to work well independently or with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for finishing and follow customer blueprints.
• Review work orders and ensure finished parts meet requirements.
• Use tools to smooth surfaces and edges and perform finishing techniques.
• Apply cosmetic and specialty coatings and maintain paint finishes.
• Perform basic inspections and document workmanship and serialization as needed.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to resolve finishing challenges.
• Maintain finishing area cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
• Adhere to safety policies and quality management systems.
