Nationwide Children\'s Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks a Laboratory Professional to perform accurate and timely processing, testing, and reporting to support patient care. The full-time role runs from 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM with rotating weekends and holidays on call; benefits are eligible.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or a related field, with ASCP certification preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in medical laboratory science or related field.

• Ability to perform routine and complex technical procedures in the LIS.
• Commitment to quality control and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and complex technical procedures and functions in the laboratory information system; may include phlebotomy, specimen handling, processing, reporting, and storage.
• Maintains quality control, preventive maintenance, and appropriate documentation; coordinates and communicates.
• Delivers service excellence and quality patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
• Assists in process development, quality assurance, department meetings, and special projects.
• Provides training and competency assessments for employees, students, fellows, rotators, etc.
