36040 - Systems Administrator - National

We are looking for a highly organised Systems Administrator to join our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Data, Digital Systems and Information team.

This is an important role supporting the day-to-day operation of critical corporate systems used across the organisation. You will help ensure our systems remain accurate, accessible and effective, supporting colleagues in delivering their health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities.

As a Systems Administrator, you will manage user accounts, organisational hierarchies, system configuration, data quality checks and licence administration. You will act as a first point of contact for system queries, incidents and service requests, working with users and suppliers to resolve issues quickly and professionally.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting business continuity activities and ensuring systems remain aligned with organisational structures and governance requirements. The role will also support data collection, reporting and information management activities, helping colleagues access reliable information to support decision making.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve user experience and increase efficiency. You will collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, suppliers and business users to ensure services continue to meet organisational needs.

The team

The Data, Digital Systems and Information team supports the Environment Agency's Health, Safety and Wellbeing function through the delivery of digital services, data, reporting and information management. We manage several critical corporate systems and work closely with operational and corporate teams across the organisation. As a small, nationally dispersed team, we value collaboration, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services that help keep colleagues safe, healthy and informed.
