Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an OR RN for a 36-hour per week schedule with 12-hour shifts from early morning to evening. The role includes Monday–Saturday work with call, and a 24-hour on-call weekend/holiday schedule. Applicants must hold a Massachusetts RN license and OR experience, with aseptic technique proficiency.

BLS is required, CNOR certification and BSN are preferred. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and offers compensation aligned with the union

Qualifications

• Ability to operate complex surgical equipment (Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Orthopedic, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular).

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care for scheduled 12-hour shifts.
• Work Monday–Saturday with on-call; 24-hour coverage on weekends/holidays.
• Adapt to float to areas as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of technical skills to operate complex surgical equipment during surgical procedures: i.e. Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular.
• BLS required.

Recommended Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience
• Charge Nurse experience; ability to function in crisis situation.
• CNOR Certification.
• BSN preferred

Pay Range:

$37.14 - $82.22

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms ofthe applicable collective bargainingagreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
