The Arc of Somerset County in Somerset County, NJ, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Female- AM shift (9am - 4pm) at group homes and residences within the community. Pay is $18.91/hr and requires a HS diploma or GED.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license; 1 year I/DD experience is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, nutrition, ISP development, medication administration, and community integration.

Responsabilités

• Assist consumers in skill development, activities of daily living, personal care, domestic living, recreation and socialization.
• Ensure assigned clients’ nutritional needs; assist with feeding as necessary.
• Assist consumers in nutritional planning, grocery shopping and meal preparation.
• Collaborate on the development/implementation of consumers’ ISP.
• Train and support consumers in all areas of their ISP.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Train and support consumers in the community including social, recreational, cultural, religion and education networks.

Job Description:

• Assist consumers, as needed, in skill development, activities of daily living, personal care, domestic living, recreation and socialization
