Job summary

Plymouth, MA-based Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is hiring a Part-time ED Tech to support emergency department operations. The role includes patient transport, specimen collection, basic clinical tasks, and assisting in ED and Orthopedics as needed.

Work 32 hours weekly, days 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with every other weekend and a holiday commitment. The ideal candidate holds a CNA/EMT/MA certification or is a nursing student with clinical rotations, or has 2+ years of ED tech experience;

Qualifications

• CNA/EMT/MA license or nursing student with rotations, or 2+ years ED tech experience.
• CPI required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, stocks, and readies the ED for care.
• Transports patients within the department and to in-hospital locations.
• Performs basic clinical tasks (EKG, wound care, labs) and assists in ED/Orthopedics as needed.
• Sets up orthopedic splints/molds and assists in clinic setups.
