Job summary

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools in Michigan is seeking a 31A Paraprofessional (27.5 hours per week) at Tenniswood Elementary to assist instructional staff in preparing and delivering educational activities.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, strong communication skills, and a track record of working with students. The position helps support at-risk learners through classroom and tutoring interventions.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit, an Associates degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Michigan teaching certificate preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assist the classroom instructor with learning materials and exercises.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in the classroom and in tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom instructor with development and presentation of learning materials.
• Provide instructional exercises to support student learning.
