Job summary

GFL Environmental is actively seeking a 310T Licensed Mechanic in Mississauga, ON. The role involves safely operating, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet, with a focus on preventative maintenance and diagnosing issues.

You will respond to service calls, assist in coordinating repairs, and help train new staff while staying current with evolving industry technology and techniques.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson with 310T license (Ontario).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a 310T mechanic.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software systems.
• Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, repair, and maintain the diverse fleet (Hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, vac trucks, roll-offs, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate repair schedules.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring safety/regulatory compliance.
• Support new employee training and stay updated on industry technology and techniques.
