Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a 310T Licensed Mechanic to safely operate, repair, and maintain our diverse fleet, including hydro-vacs and tankers.

The role requires a Journeyperson 310T license with at least 1 year of experience, strong computer literacy, and the ability to meet safety standards. Training and growth opportunities are available within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ontario Journeyperson with 310T license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a 310T Licensed Mechanic.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, repair, and maintain the fleet (Hydro-vacs, vac trucks, tankers, roll-offs, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, coordinate repair schedules.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support new employee training and stay updated on latest technology and techniques.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and assist in coordinating repair schedules.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Support new employee training and stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in the industry.

What's Required

• Skilled Trades Ontario registration as a Journeyperson with 310T license.
• Minimum one year of experience as a 310T Licensed Mechanic.
• Computer literacy, willingness to learn new software systems.
• Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and physical capability to perform job duties.
