Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our Mississauga-based team. You will safely operate, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet including Hydro-vacs, vacuum trucks, tankers, and more, while diagnosing issues and coordinating timely repairs.

Experience as a 310T Licensed Mechanic and strong safety awareness are essential. Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software are expected, with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Skilled Trades Ontario registration as a Journeyperson with 310T license.
• Minimum one year of experience as a 310T Licensed Mechanic.
• Computer literacy, willingness to learn new software systems.
• Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and physical capability to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, repair, and maintain our diverse fleet, including Hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, vac trucks, roll-offs, box trucks, pickups, flat deck trailers and more.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and assist in coordinating repair schedules.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Support new employee training and stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in the industry.
