Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a part-time in-home health aide to support clients in the St. Cloud area. The role offers flexible hours and pay starting at $18/hour, with CNA qualified pay at $20/hour. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and documentation. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal care including dressing, grooming, incontinence and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping (bathroom, living areas, kitchen, laundry, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with cooking and baking.
• Engage in conversation and provide companionship.
• Offer Interactive Caregiving and mobility assistance with transfer tools/equipment as needed.
• Assist with medication and safety in the home.
• Support dementia or Alzheimer’s care as required.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Document shift care electronically as required.
