Job summary

AdviniaCare at Vinnin Square in Salem, MA is seeking a compassionate 3-11 RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care on designated units.

Responsibilities include rounds, policy interpretation, and coordinating care plans with physicians and families. Requires MA RN licensure, leadership experience in long-term care, and strong communication skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN registration within MA.
• Three years of experience preferred with a minimum of two years in a long-term care facility.
• Minimum of one-year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds of all nursing units, evaluate resident care and staff performance, act as a liaison between staff and nursing administration.
• Interpret policies, procedures, standards, and rules and regulations to all unit managers and nursing staff, provide positive and/or corrective action.
• Communicate pertinent organizational and departmental information to other supervisors and all nursing units.
• Maintain records pertinent to operation and management of nursing units, resident condition, census, and nursing service rendered.
• Identify staff, supply, and equipment needs and input into plans of correction.
• Ability to function effectively and efficiently in emergency situations.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules regarding resident assessments and care plan implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend changes/improvements in areas affecting quality resident care.
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and staff to assure resident satisfaction.
• Establish, maintain, and promote effective working relationships with nursing personnel, residents, family members, and ancillary staff.
• All other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
