Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN registration within MA.
• Three years of experience preferred with a minimum of two years in a long-term care facility.
• Minimum of one-year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds of all nursing units, evaluate resident care and staff performance, act as a liaison between staff and nursing administration.
• Interpret policies, procedures, standards, and rules and regulations to all unit managers and nursing staff, provide positive and/or corrective action.
• Communicate pertinent organizational and departmental information to other supervisors and all nursing units.
• Maintain records pertinent to operation and management of nursing units, resident condition, census, and nursing service rendered.
• Identify staff, supply, and equipment needs and input into plans of correction.
• Ability to function effectively and efficiently in emergency situations.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules regarding resident assessments and care plan implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend changes/improvements in areas affecting quality resident care.
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and staff to assure resident satisfaction.
• Establish, maintain, and promote effective working relationships with nursing personnel, residents, family members, and ancillary staff.
• All other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled 3-11 Supervisor to join our talented staff at AdviniaCare at Vinnin Square, a leading senior living provider in Salem, Massachusetts. Our long term care facility offers a range of services and amenities to support the unique needs of each resident. As a Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and services.

About the Role:

As a 3-11 Supervisor you will assume a management position responsible for providing leadership and monitoring of quality resident care. Your primary focus will be on the management of nursing personnel on designated nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring that nursing standards are met and quality resident care is delivered. You will also perform a variety of direct and indirect nursing services to meet the personnel needs and promote the well-being of residents in accordance with acceptable nursing practices and the policies of the facility.
