Job summary

AtWork! is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 2nd shift in Saint Paul, MN, to set up and operate automated wire cutting and stripping equipment and ensure products meet specifications.

You will read process sheets, measure with ruler or tape, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production goals. A high school diploma is required; strong attention to detail and math skills are essential; experience with calipers or micrometers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated wire cutting and stripping machines.
• Set up machines according to process sheets.
• Change cutting blades, rollers, and guide tubes as needed.
• Accurately measure materials using a ruler or tape measure.
• Monitor equipment to maintain quality and minimize material scrap.
• Count, bundle, and organize finished products.
• Inspect finished products and remove defective materials.
• Read and interpret production prints.
• Record applicable production information.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Move between machines and workstations based on production needs.
