Job summary

Viking Electric is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Wire Cutter in Milwaukee to coil, spool, cut, and label wire for customer orders. Training provided; expects lifting and standing for long periods and adherence to safety procedures.

You will review orders, select reel sizes, measure and cut wire, unload reels, restock inventory, and maintain accurate records. Requires basic math skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient with RF devices and warehouse tech.
• Basic math including fractions and decimals for unit conversions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to stand/walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Review orders to determine reel size and wire type needed.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload and load reels onto wire machine.
• Restock wire inventory as needed.
• Follow SOPs and safety regulations.
